FAQs
Booking a DJ
Yes – you book and pay securely online. This helps protect both you and the DJ and keeps everything in one place.
Not immediately.
Submitting a booking request and processing payment starts the process, but the DJ must confirm availability first. Once confirmed by our team, your booking is locked in.
After confirmation, you’ll receive all the details by email. You’ll also be able to communicate with your DJ directly to finalise timings, music preferences, and any special requests.
You’ll be able to share music preferences, must-play tracks, and do-not-play lists with your DJ ahead of the event to make sure the vibe is just right.
We understand that things happen. Cancellation and refund terms vary depending on timing and the DJ’s individual policy, which will be made clear by the DJ once confirmed.
We work with DJs across the UK, covering weddings, parties, corporate events, and more. Availability depends on location and date.
Creating a DJ profile
If you’re a DJ, you can apply to join Voltage DJs via the DJ sign-up page. Once signed-in, you’ll be able to create and manage your profile, upload photos, list your equipment, and receive booking enquiries.
Creating a DJ profile is free.
When you receive paid bookings through Voltage DJs, a small service fee of 10% is applied. Voltage DJs take the 10% fee and transfer the booking money to your bank account once all confirmed.
Payments are taken securely through the website via Stripe. DJs are paid after the event has taken place, minus the agreed service fee.
